Nationalpark Hohe Tauern

"Lords of the skies" house

  • Golden eagles, griffon vultures and bearded vultures – these are the lords of the skies over the Hohe Tauern National Park. The largest birds in the Alps are at the centre of this exhibition with integrated cinema allowing visitors to find out a lot about the "private life" of these raptors.
In the "Valley of the vultures", in Krumltal (Kruml valley) close by, you can find out more about these raptors along this nature trail. Whether on your own or as part of a guided tour, you can also watch the "Lords of the skies" in action.
