Trail description:
This circular route starts directly from the Strumerhof car park. Shortly after the start, you will have to chance to choose between to options to climb up to Wodenalm. There is the challenging option and an easy version. Here you will find the description for the sporty route. The path is initially relatively flat; however, it turns into a steep forest path after a few minutes. You will walk through thinly wooded larch woods and across several clearings (route number 53c). At these points, you will have a very good view of the valley and the mountains opposite. After an hour, you will leave the forest and the view opens up onto a very tranquil Alpine area: you have reached Wodenalm. Until this point, the steepness of the path remains relatively the same, but is split up now and again by more level sections. (On your return, you can enjoy the nature trail and choose the easier route to descend.)
