Trail description:
The trail below the Petersbrünnl restaurant takes you across a narrow path to a road. The first stop of the nature trail is located directly next to the information board, from where you can look out over the valley. Starting from the overview board, the trail takes down to a river and across a small bridge. Then it is a climb to the second stop where the larch trees indicate the age of the avalanche debris. The third stop is located further into the valley: the "Teufelslacke" (devil's pool). Passing the larch meadows, you will reach a mountain stream that is home to the water shrew and white-throated dipper.
After crossing the stream, the trail takes you to the end of the valley to the Bartler Alm meadow. On the section of path after the Alpine huts, you will pass meadows rich in species and colour. Here, you can enjoy the scenic surroundings in peace and quiet.
The return walk provides a unique view of the attractive landscape.
