Trail description:
The starting point is the car park next to Lucknerhaus at the end of Kalser Glocknerstraße (toll road) at 1,900 m above sea level. 12 stations with interactive features can be found along this loop that takes an estimated 60 minutes to walk. This exceptional trail offers fitness for the mind, information about the interesting Grossglockner Alpine history and diverse insights into the mountain's large and small natural wonders. It is also possible for vigilant hikers to watch the marmots, ibex and golden eagles. This themed trail features interesting information boards and interactive displays. The "Glocknerpanorama" visitor centre at the Lucknerhaus car park provides information about the "Big Five" of the Hohe Tauern National Park.
