You will meet up with the national park ranger at 09:30 at the middle station of the Grossglockner Cable Car at the tunnel railway entrance. You will obtain your rental equipment (snowshoes, poles) here. Then take the tunnel railway to the Fleiß valley (Großes Fleißtal). During the guided snowshoe trek you will reach the immensely impressive Fleiß valley with wintering grounds for ibex. Using powerful binoculars, you are able to observe the wildlife that spends the harsh winter in the middle of the steep cliffs. At the end, you will return to the starting point with possibilities for refreshments in the skiing area.
