Delivery and payment conditions for the Hohe Tauern National Park's online shop

(as of August 2004)

1.) Delivery

All deliveries are always made at the buyer's expense and risk. Complaints regarding deliveries can only be considered within 8 days after receipt of the goods.

Transport-related damage costs shall be borne by the transport company and the recipient must make a complaint about these. The provisions of the Austrian federal act relating to the fixed prices for books (BPrBG) shall apply for book shipments.

In addition to the purchase price, we shall charge you with the costs for shipping by Österreichische Post AG. No charges shall be levied on our part for packing and handling.

For international deliveries, the shipping costs of the delivery company shall be added to the purchase price. Payment for the product shall be made in advance through PayPal (credit card) or by bank transfer. Upon our bank account being credited with the invoice amount, the goods shall be sent to you immediately.

Delivery time

We strive to deliver your order within 10 working days. For orders we receive from abroad, 1 additional working day must be added due to the postal delivery time.

Furthermore, please consider the fact that we are dependent on other companies such as Österreichische Post when delivering your order.

2.) Payment

Payment options

You can pay for your order via PayPal (PayPal account) or via PayPal using a credit card or by invoice with a payment confirmation slip.

For orders from Austria: Your invoice and payment slip will be enclosed in your delivery. The invoice total must be paid no later than 14 days after receipt of the goods or by the date printed on the invoice. Reminder and collection charges shall be borne by the debtor. (Orders from abroad – see item 1. Delivery)

3.) Retention of title

The goods remain the property of the Hohe Tauern National Park until full payment has been effected.

4.) Returning the goods

The right of withdrawal in accordance with the Distance Sales Act (FAGG) shall apply for internet orders.
The goods can be exchanged within 8 days of receipt of the goods. If there is no fault on our part, returns are made at the expense of the buyer. A credit note can only be created if the goods are in perfect condition. CDs and videos can only be returned in their original packaging. Books only if they show no signs of use.

5.) Place of performance and court of jurisdiction

Place of performance is 9971 Matrei i. O., court of jurisdiction is 9900 Lienz. Conflicting terms and conditions will not be accepted. Any changes must be made in writing. Oral promises are not valid.

6.) Privacy policy

We store and process the information that you provide us as part of your order in our proprietary database only. We guarantee to treat your data in accordance with the Austrian Data Protection Act and not to pass the data on to third parties.
