Trail description:
The natural history trail starts immediately at the Ankogelbahn car park, which can be reached from Mallnitz by public transport. After a few minutes, you will reach Stappitzer See in just a few minutes. Beyond the lake, the path leads to the southern side of the valley. The path moves to the height of the Schleierfall (Schleier waterfall) above the Seebach (Seebach river) on the other side of the valley. From there, it is only a 10-minute walk to the Schwußner Hütte (Schwußner hut) (1,330 m).
